When did you start playing, and what was the first server you played on, amd what map.

I started playing in December 2012, and my first server was Shams Little Pony's don't remember anymmore

Normandie on minit US CTF, it was really weird because I picked the rifle first and I was not used to semi automatic weapons in video games at the time. There was only 3 minutes left and then the map changed the harbor2. I spent 20 minutes just walking inside all the buildings.

Started back in 0.21, after watching paulsoaresjr do a video on the game. The map was classicgen, that's all that was really hosted at the time, if I recall correctly, don't remember the server name.

After the Rock, Paper, Shotgun article '10 Reasons You Need to Play Ace of Spades'. I was immediately captivated by the concept, and started playing. I can't remember my first game, but one of my earliest memories was playing with StackOverflow on one of the Goon Haven servers, and levelling the entire map.

I first started playing when .70 came out. The first server I joined a classicgen 24/7 server. I was hooked and played for 5h straight that day.
I've noticed that many new nostalgia threads are appearing...

I started just before 0.54 when HeyJD told the dying community of Reflect Games about it. Most of us played AoS for a time, but the few that still remain is limited to just me and Nesto.

Good times.

Late spring 2011, some random russian server.

February 2012. Goon assault. Played it for hours on end for weeks.

October 2011, Sham's server i think with darkfort. I hope i am not the only one who started playing with an touchpad.

Around this kind of day 3 years ago - 0.22 was just being released as I began playing, and I don't know what server, they were all the same right back then.

I probably started on touchpad too, on my laptop.

yeah, it was sometime in april around this time for me too I think. I don't remember the server name or anything really, aside that this game was a lot easier for me when it first showed up. I remember I had just dual booted windows 7 with ubuntu(which is what I normally used) and AoS was one of the reasons I started to use windows again.

I first started on a classicgen server, 3 days after AoS was released.
I can remember the base/were we spawned, was like a square pit.
