There are so many original and great maps on the forums, yet the popular maps consist of a thin hallway and a map made entirely of two triangles.

I disagree. They are all really good especially nuketown. And I agree we need more maps. I am not much of a fan of hallway.

Hallway is a lot of fun but its nice to play some other maps.

just look at all the maps in the mapping section and in the repo, we have a ton of diversity what we don't have is servers hosting the maps we make

Same can be said about any map that isn't pinpoint, hallway, or aloha.pk's arena maps, and arena turns Ace of Spades into Call of Duty.

host a server with some more interesting maps and try to get the server to be popular. it's a bummer , but the only way to really fix it is to host other maps and then play them
