I noticed on certain maps such as AnticBridge and Goonassault I get around 30-50 fps and in other more detailed and large scale maps I get around 25 ,so any tips on changing that for the better? No easy tips like closing programs in the background or buying more RAM. I'm a pretty advanced user so get as advanced as possible. Thanks Green_BigSmile Blue_BigSmile

Do you have Windows 8? I've heard that this game just doesn't like that OS.

You can use performance boosting programs like Game Booster which manages and stops unnecessary processes. It help's somewhat in those triple-a titles especially when you're recording. I don't know why you'd be having framerate issues with AoS though.

No. AoS can easily run at 50 or 60 FPS unless you're using Win7 or Win8(topo figured out a fix for Win8).
I don't know about Vista though.

GPU?

I'm guessing that it's integrated, that should run AoS fine. Hell I can run it on my laptop (also has integrated GPU) and it runs lag-free.

GPU isnt the problem. voxlap is a software renderer. What resolution are you playing at? If it is higher than default you might be able to change it back and get a few more frames a second

These are some steps to reduce lag.
  • 1. Unistall every program except the important ones and Ace of Spades,
    2. Delete your documents, pictures, videos, and music folders,
    3. Play Ace of Spades,
    4. If it is still laggy you have a virus on your computer,
    5. Install an anti-virus program or use a backup.

Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to take your hands off the keyboard and step away from the computer!
