Look guys, I know I've trolled a lot, and I've enjoyed it however. Despite the pain in the ass it is for ya.

I am a strong opponent of jagex, however the prototype community has fallen apart
..to the point where jagex has more players on their aos than ours, and that is no ones fault but our own.

What we need, is to push our prototype to everything it can be. And despite what you may say, it damn sure is not being utilized effectively. Open spades actually has ALOT of the players from steam interested, much more than the broken .75 we are stuck with right now. ..not to mention pinpoint and hallway are always being overplayed. And the SMG oping the rifle.
Another option, is .76

To be honest, it's just not ace of spades anymore. Yeah jagex took the game out of Bens direction, but have we not done what Ben would have wanted, either? Blue_Normal Green_normal

Join the club. I've been advocating that for months on end, but shits not gonna happen. This isn't the type of community that would help with shit, they just tell you how stupid you are mostly.

There are realistic things we can do to improve the overall community. Arbitrarily dropping support for one version over another isn't one of them and it wont lead to any long term positive results.

I agree with Dan. What I feel should also be looked into is to whether or not hosting two versions is actually harmful in any way to the overall community/game.

I don't see hosting two versions as an issue, what could be slightly more pressing is to decide which should be advertised as the face of BnS, so as to give the best impression and best gaming experience for any potential new recruits.

No one listens to people with good shit to say. And that's just speaking historically.
Like how Americans voted for Eisenhower over Robert Taft in 1952.
Or how George bush beat al gore.

This community seems to be on knees now, same shit, so slow to progress.

The jagex aos is ACTUALLY gaining players. They are almost averaging to 1000 players per hour.

Here, we are just sitting on our ass screaming "shit post" "er god .75 is the shit! Jagex aos is too shitty!" To the point to help our own community.

considering the steam version went on a 75% off sale I am sure a lot of people are getting it. Not because it is a good game but because they like the idea and the price.

Looks like they are losing more players.

To be fair, it did say that it's 24 hour peak was 1,100 players. Not saying I agree with him on that point, but it's something.

And of course the community is on it's knees... you should really read "We have become what we have hated the most".

It shows the community at it's finest.

I think that everyone is just seeing problems that don't exist, if everyone shut up and pretended that everything was fine and played the game as they used to, I am sure that everything would be fine. Too many people are too damn worried instead of just being happy - there is no reason not to be.

Just play the game and be a cool dude and everything will be fine. No revolutions needed.

You aren't helping that much either.

You know, you could just get off your ass and do something on your own because moaning about it won't get you anywhere.
Look what yvt did. He decided to make OS on his own without anyone forcing him to do it.
Look at what GM did before he left us. He made Iceball alone(he made the first couple of versions of Iceball alone, then rakiru and some others started helping him afaik) without anyone forcing him to do it.

If you have any specific faults about the community you would like to point out along with a feasible solution, please do so. I am sure if the problem is big and the solution good enough, many of us would be willing to help out in your quest to free bns from these glorious "ass sitters".
