If you could remake AoS what features would it have?

So, your solution is to make the SMG better, have you even played AoS? I mean, the SMG i probably the best weapon in-game, but it's harder to handle correctly. The only changes made to the smg is making it worse at long ranges.

Dude, I also said to buff the shotgun. Never known anyone who uses it...
SMG isn't *that* overpowered... but it's powerful. It either needs a secondary or more ammo. That would be great.

Have you even played 0.75? The SMG dominates everywhere, short, medium and long range. Almost everybody uses the SMG, because if its ridiculously high damage, fire rate, accuracy and ease of use. And you want to buff it more? Are you out of your mind?

If you learn how to control the recoil, and fire at 2-3 round burst it is a laser gun at any range.

Hm... ok. NERF THE SMG THEN. LIKE, REALLY NERF IT.
But then again, reload speed and ammo are drawbacks enough IMO, along with the ROF of it.

I think that what attracted people in the beginning of Ace of Spades was the simplicity of it. It was a very simple game but still managed to be hella fun, even with just one firearm, grenades and a couple of tools. I am personally against adding a shit-ton of weapons and superfluous stuff because of that. Maybe a barbed wire block, a sidearm, etc, that would be good. But adding three different types of automatic guns, two to three weapons for each range and other stuff that is basically reskins of already existing stuff, that is boring and wasted effort. IMO the ideal would be to make away with the SMG and replace it with a assault rifle, make the shotgun the absolute master at close range, maybe give the rifle a scope. Also interesting would be a LMG, used as a purely defensive gun. Instead of running around with it, you put it down in a bunker or in a hill and mow down any deuce that tries to go past you.

Burst with it and your magazine and ammo will last quite a while.
IMO an increase in the randomness of the recoil would be a good way to make it more balanced. Notice I said randomness, not recoil itself, that should make it harder to hit targets at long ranges without losing too much power in close range.

I like the idea of the random recoil feature for the SMG, then it will be less God Tier,but still usable

Hm. Yeah. I've been an SMG user for way too long I didn't realize it was OP. LOL.
But let's not forgot the most important thing of almost every PC game, and why it's community is still alive: Mods.

Usually i just want the game have some regenerating health, or player determined health

Whenever the player is below 33% of their maximum health, tunnel vision or a red tinge (depending on the game) will appear on screen, accompanied by a raised heartbeat and strained breathing, thus making the game harder, or unfair, unless if the player gets to cover, over 6 seconds, the health fully relieved from all the attacks. (100%)

if i am just smart to make a game, lol i would make one now, but i am no famous :(

How about they do it like in GTA 5 where health only recovers to 50

Then, health kits/boxes/whatever we may add would get less use, unlike ammo boxes/crates/whatever

Hm... here's an even better idea. Ever heard of Payday 2?
Add an armor that regenerates fully, but quickly diminishes, and is worth about 50 or so Health, and don't let health regenerate at all.
Solution enough?

-New HUD system( chat one one side, votekick not in chat but as a gui on hud)
-Change how weapons work:
Add a slight time to look down sight, like you would using a real weapon
Maybe add a sidearm, not sure bout that
Rifle- either add a bullet drop system or keep the semi as it is with a lil lower fire rate, just a tad lower, making it bolt action seems like a cool idea but mechanics to make it balanced might be hard
SMG- lower the fire rate a lot, more recoil
Shotty- a tad bit higher rate
- Artillery System
-Cover system
- Physics
- Ragdolls
- Vehicles for bigger servers
- Client serverlist- I kinda hate having to always go to bns.com, openspades does it quite well
- More map variety being played
-A better squad system, it was a good idea but badly implemented

I don't know how vehicles will ever work...
I agree with squads, artillery, cover (Seriously, just play Red Orchestra 2), HUD, bullet drop, sidearm... well almost everything.
