I think a lot of our own members have misinterpreted our goals and the image we'd like to exude. It is our most fervent wish to exist peacefully alongside the official forum, alongside the 1.0 community, where co-operation and inter-community interaction exists.
Some individuals (from b & s), however, seem to think that we're an anti-jagex, anti-1.0 movement and that they're expected to act up and become mini-revolutionaries both on this forum and elsewhere. This isn't the case. Behaving like this only reflects badly upon us and is a surefire way to get yourself banned. "Screw Jagex, come play at build and shoot!" is not what need, nor is it a productive way to increase our own popularity. Rather, if someone expresses interest in Build and Shoot, then link them in an appropriate manner, but do not give a negative opinion about Jagex and don't spam it everywhere. The reason there's a code of silence on Build and Shoot on this forum is due to the anti-Jagex sentiment that exists within a lot of our members posts on this forum, and even our own.

Opinions on 1.0 should be given in the 1.0 section of our forum, or on this (Jagex) forum. Remember to keep it as opinion, not slander. I'm not affiliated with Jagex but I do have a rough idea of what should be acceptable. "I don't like 1.0 because X reason, I hope they fix this in the future" would be fine, however "1.0 IS SO BAD SCREW JAGEX COME TO B & S THEY RUINED THIS GAME" isn't. Also, unnecessarily adding build and shoot onto the end of a post is also probably not wise.

There is nothing to gain by pretending we're a freedom fighter group trying to grab at some moral high-ground; we aren't. You're only going to get yourself banned this way and this reflects badly on the rest of the Build and Shoot community. Peaceful co-operation and co-existence is the way forward.

Not to be mean Kodiak but you aren't an admin. I agree with your points though, I have been watching the jagex forums alot and have seen that many members are fighting jagex rather then working with them. Remember build and shoot is just a community not a new world order.
