On the subject of tanks I don't know if an RPG would be necessary.
Between a few grenades, other tanks, or mortars (which I think would be better then an RPG) as well as poor climbing ability I don't think tanks would be crazy difficult to take out.
If only updates could continue

Could encourage teamwork. If you have to crouch for a second to use the bazooka, why not just mortars and/or infantry support guns that work somewhat the same way? Just because we don't need the WW2/contemporary flavour. Anyway the anti-grief ideas and the one ammo idea are very good. And I'm happy that you are considering things written in this topic!
Actually, this gives me an idea...
How about we add a 2 shot bazooka primary, and a pistol as a secondary? We'd need to make sure that you can't grief your team with it, somehow.
Antigrief ideas for a potential bazooka:
- You cannot damage your team's quarter of the map. This requirement could be dropped for trusted players and clan matches.
- If you are repeatedly trying to break your team's quarter (say, 5 times in 10 minutes), you get banned from the server for an hour.
- You cannot camp in your tent and get rockets fed through your ass. Remember the SMG when it first came out? Yeah, we don't want a repeat of that bullshit.
- You have to stay crouched for about a second to use it. Not only would this help with balancing, but it would also mean that kids who don't have ADHD but still don't pay any fucking attention will not be able to use it.
If you want to add secondary weapons it would be cool to have the choice as I said in my opening post here, so a player that chooses mortar/rpg can choose if having a (probably more useful) pistol or the classic grenades or poison gas or whatever. A player may have the feeling of "personalizing" by just choosing two things, but in the end they will probably choose something that matches with their first weapon. Also this way the guy with the rpg will not have rpg+pistol+grenade (and spade and blocks), so there will not be too many weapons for a player.
