In my opinion, achievements shouldn't be about doing things over and over to stat-grind achievements, but accomplishing something funny that nets you things. Something that you can't just grind over and over, but requires a whole lot of skill and a whole lot of luck. Peace is a great example, something unrelated to how the game is played out, as is Calm Aim, due to the ludicrous nature of actually pulling off such a feat. Or, as I noted before, Minecraft for the side-reference you're making.
Racking up kills, capturing intel, all of these are grindable; there's no real accomplishment except "you've dumped hours into this game".

I like it, this might be possible with a pyspades script. We, stack, has plans to make an analytics script for pyspades. Achievements are really just fancy SQL queries to a database so it would be very easy to tie into our analytics db.

But I realized something wouldn't you have to find a way to tie all of the servers together(In Restrospect i think Pyspades can do that)in order for these achievements to work, And in order to do that, AoS needs to be a FULL download game, and no longer a browser game(as it is now)?
