I personally prefer Openspades.
I do love Ace of Spades, but it is easily hacked.

Those hacks will forever remain.Wow, never knew about WTFAoS.dll. Also I've got an idea: Why don't change the machine code of 0.75 and add an offset to every jump label, so when the hacks are injected the client crashes? But we would need to force players to use the new "updated" version, maybe by changing the protocol version either.

Moreover, you can just forget things like a client update, with the community being as it is atm. If you want to actually stop hacks - it's pretty easy for your own server. Just install the few scripts around. In general, hacks can be detected very well with scripts.Icarus North wrote:And as long as some asshat is still uploading hinjector.exe and WTFAoS.dll (provided the fact that nobody's continuing AoS development.) ByteBit wrote:I said that too, but I think their point is that basically everybody can write such a hack. Well, at least quite some things are possible with CheatEngine. I remember making me fly with it. Teleporting is also possible. So an ESP is already considerable for that.LeCom wrote:Offsetting or similar things are a no-go cause they're so easy to work around.Sure they are, but the creators of those hacks might be no longer around (thus don't update their hacks).

OpenSpades, because it's fun making mods there.
