I'm stuck with intel graphics (laptop hd 4000), so openspades feels clunky. Is there a way to install classic on linux?

update: I found a snapshot of this wiki article in web archives

https://web.archive.org/web/20130817140 ... .php/Linux

I followed the directions and the game ran @ 2fps.

Looks like I got no chioce

You can run OS on low settings with that PC.

Make everything low/off and try- you may be suprised. I managed to get 30-40 fps on Intel Graphics.

You can run AOS classic on Linux via Wine.
Code: Select all
wine /path/to/client.exe -aos://ip.of.the.server
It works, but sometimes I had problems with mouse and selecting guns.
