IMHO, AoS was meant to be where Ben left it. The reason he left is because he fulfilled his aims with AoS and didn't want to improve it further. But he was scared of telling us this in case people got demoralized that no new updates were coming. Instead the cunning bastard sold AoS to Fagex and made us hate them.
