Update to 0.0.5:
-added a limitation for turning, you can turn ~110 degrees down and ~180 degrees up
-encreased grenade throwing speed a bit
-moved the gun closer by default
-F7 toggles chat, F8 toggles GUI, F9 toggles first-person tools
-chat automatically scrolls
-I key shows in-game instructions
-a message telling the player to do so right after joining
-mouse wheel switches tools
-only one single font file is used that you can edit now
-a random one out of several splash screens is selected (mainly screenshots)
-added a menu
-added a config editor (edit the config.ini for ALL options)
-added a font renderer for modders
-fixed a small thing that could have caused tons of bugs
-added a snow script to the server (merry Christmas)

Initial thoughts on 0.0.5:

- Thanks for posting a changelog :)
- I like the snow effect, other weather effects possible in the far future?
- The muzzle flash is different/bugged, no? It makes all the blocks around it much darker instead of brighter.
- I like the addition of random screenies on the menu. For whatever reason the progress bar fills only a small bit that doesn't update till the game is fully loaded and on the black screen.
- Small suggestion: to clean up the VXW folder, perhaps some stuff could be made hidden automatically so the end user only sees by default the START_VOXELWAR.exe. Maybe then it wouldn't have to be in all caps to get attention. Obviously not a big deal anyway.
- It seems that when the menu opens it is not focused on the app because I have to click somewhere within it first before any buttons.
- Menu looks very crude in terms of buttons, but thats not a huge deal right now. Whats important is that the transition from menu to game-loading and configuration is a little more seamless. At some point you should have the client.exe run in the background and not pop up over the game window. Also I love the random screenshots background you implemented. Chuck on a VXW watermark/logo somewhere and that should be the background for everything (Main menu, loading screen, & config). Also although ESC backs you out I don't think it says this anywhere. That info maybe should be listed for other users.
- I look forward to more realistic sounds being the default :P
- Can we make the turning limitation 110 degrees for both up and down? I shouldn't be able to bend my back to see behind me.
- This is probably common knowledge but apparently when I switch from spectator mode to green I get what looks like a Browning Automatic Rifle. Weird but cool.
