oh come on. the aim is meant to be tricky. Lecom said so himself. He wants it so you don't go headshotting every 3 seconds

It is still tricky in the new build. Especially at long ranges. Should be fine at short ranges though.
Anyhow.. LeCom, can you help me with the bmps? I tried to create bmp scopes but none of them are working.

Actually, here is the trick to it. Go to Advanced options (Paint.net or gimp) and find extra stuff mentioning the byte style click the one of 24 GG or something like that.

having the same problem. had, rather. that enet glitch thingy still hasn't worked, and iv'e tried everything. can you just give my the source so i can try to fix the bug? that would be awesome. don't worry about hackers, either. OS doesn't have any hacks and that's as fucking open source as physically possible. the hack-coders have moved on to bigger things.

Having trouble using the move mechanic with mortars. They won't go up blocks.

If you haven't noticed yet, the rifle already does a torso damage of 60, and VXW is no pure shooter. And even if it was, it still can be made a fair or realistic one. Just because CoD or CS aren't, it doesn't mean that no shooter can be like that.

When saving, select advanced options and 32-Bit RGBA BMP. If you don't do that, it will save as 24 bit, without transparency.

The ENet error can not be fixed, not even with source. ENet doesn't have any error handling at all. I once had that error on an older PC, after changing the resolution it worked (wierd, but that did fix it). I'll try to add an error handler that can show some errors.

If you can't move mortars up, try engineering: place a block below the mortar/into the bipod, and it will move up.

On another topic, do you think that we could have a non-official match at some point?

Not the event as such, but just to see who we can get together, I presume we can give feedback on the fly/test bugs for before the event. Also try and see how the gameplay really works with more humans.

A8 R8 G8 B8? Doesn't work. The black bg is visible while the sight is transparent.

I looked it up and it said that alpha or 32 bit colours aren't officially supported in .bmp files. So I can not keep it like this in any case. Luckily, I could figure out the problem (loading .png did work before, but didn't want to load transparency) and it loads .png scope files now. Will obviously be included in the next update.

The carrying code has been a quick and crappy implementation from the beginning on. I was going to fix it anyways right now, so you could walk while carrying it and climb/descend blocks, but not sprint.

hackers still exist here, no doubt on that. the coders for them don't.
