I'm not sure what you mean by this... myself and many, many others still respect Grease immeasurably for largely unappreciated work he's put in to Iceball and the community as a whole. Like many of us he's sick of the inaction and complacency around here as of late, and has decided to jump off the sinking ship. The problem is that we're not past the point of no return, not yet. The ship doesn't need to sink.

I misphrased, I didn't mean to say he isn't respected, but to use your analogy, he jumped when it wasn't needed.
His working on Iceball and with the community is what is helping to keep the ship from sinking, him jumping when it isn't needed, is like dropping a glacier on the ship.
