I used to play AoS (or, as it is known now, Build and Shoot) back when it was Alpha 0.27, or something around there. All I know was that it was only a rifle. You could kinda call me a veteran, but meh.
I recently got back into AoS/BaS when Steam had a free weekend for the now Jagex owned Ace of Spades. I played it- it's complete crap by the way, although that's my opinion -and thought,
Hey, what if I went back to the old version? I saw a link to it a month ago.. 'build and shoot' was what it was called..?AAAAND now I'm here.
Once I get Slab6 again, I will be making mods and whatever. They might be good, might not- I'll just have to tinker around with it until I get good with it again. One thing is for certain, however; I WILL be giving my own personal player skins out to you guys. Hope you like SWAT-themed models.
In the topic of my creative efforts, I also do commentaries and lets-plays with my friends on Steam and Xbox LIVE. I recently got inspiration to do a series involving me going around AoS servers and filming what goes on using the lovely spectator mode. In addition to that, I've kinda been wanting to film a lengthy war movie, so if you'd like to help me that feel free to ask.
In keeping with the 'tradition' I have seen in the forums of keeping an AoS player head as your forum avatar, I went out and fully decked mine in some crazy dragon facemask and a pattern I did in GIMP 2. I may have gone overboard BUT ITS OKAY.
I tend to be more friendly in game. I love a good fight, but it's even better when we can all be gentle(wo)men in chat and on the field. It'd also help if I had a group of people to play with consistently, and they had headsets, so I don't have to type everything and we can totally DESTROY EVERYTHING THE OTHER TEAM HOLDS NEAR AND DEAR TO THEIR HEARTS and win the game. Tee-hee.
