Build and Shoot

Step 1: Find a weapon modification that you like in the Customization Section. For this tutorial we will use SIMOX'S AKS-74 (pics).

Step 2: Download the the files from the link, often links say something like "Download through here if you want to show some support", these links allow the mod author to receive some money through advertisements. Please click these links if you can.

Step 3: Extract the files so you can view them like this:


Step 4: Open up your Ace of Spades folder in a new window, it should be found in "C:\Ace of Spades".

Step 5: Some mods have multiple variations, select one you like, in this example we will be using the default AKS-74 (Iron Sight with no arms), then copy the .kv6 files into the kv6 folder found in the Ace of Spades folder you should have open in the other window:

Note: This will replace the old semi.kv6, allow Windows Explorer to do this.

Step 6: Copy the corresponding .png files and .wav files from the mod you downloaded into the png folder and the wav folder in 'C:\Ace of Spades' the same way you did with the .kv6 files.

Step 7: Open up Ace of Spades and you should be using the new gun like so:

Same, you put them on KV6 folder

when i got aos it dint get me a folder

There will be a folder after you download it, redsnake.
Just search for "ace of spadse" or "kv6" and you'll find it.

I don't have a Ace of Spades kv6 file. What do I do?

If you dont have even one, you directly can't play -.-

I find it wierd that I don't have a Ace Of Spades folder, I only have "Build And Shoot" folder and there's only the launcher and the uninst, I realy wanted to install the mods :/

open the BnS launcher and goto the third option should be like customization or something then click view on disk

For some reason, when type C:\ Ace of Spades it pops up and when I click on it, it only has aos_server_log and a vxl folder with a lastsav.vxl in it. help?

Can you show us how to install Scopes? I got the M14 and the scope is there but I can't see through it!
