It has been discussed before but we should take a vote about it. So yes, no, or other. if you chose other please post what you think we should use instead. The clan subsections were a pretty big deal on the old forums as it gave clans something to work towards and made them more organized than a thread.

I'm 99% sure dan has stated already a form of sub-sections is in the works. Just needs to not be a pain to admin like last time.

Absolutely. If this is already in the works then it renders this thread a mostly moot point but I'm 100% for it, and have a few ideas of my own I already shared with dan to help ensure it's success.

I don't know. I feel like clans should have a separate sites. Though having sub forums are good too. Though I think with separate sites it's much easier to organize and post stuff.

I really want it to be like the sections on the old forums, they were near perfect.

It would be great if we could have a clan sub-section like on the old aceofspades website.

Maybe I'm just lazy...

Is there a way we could have both?Battlefire wrote:I don't know. I feel like clans should have a separate sites. Though having sub forums are good too. Yeah but with sub forums for a example. I can look at their privet forum while with a separate site I can't.

I think he's trying to say that it's piss-easy to add password protected areas if certain clans want them.

Why are you giving him shit about Dan already mentioning this in progress? Other than to screw with him.
They should be made as simple as possible. It should be decided who will admin before hand as well as who will handle technical stuff. That way the Admins know BnS is serious about this. It wont add on another load of crap for them to deal with. And it wont take up to much space. I assume the more detailed a site is the more expensive it is to run. (not sure feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) A clan section isn't something necessary. IMO it should be run by whoever decided to admin it. The admins have alot of crap to deal with as it is.(That's not already an admin. Meaning a new admin decided to deal with this section. or simple ask Tin or another who admins The clan recruitment page to Admin this as well.) The more admins there are. The easier it is on all of them.
