I think its time to bring out the community servers

I feel now is the time we should bring up the community white listed servers. These will be the servers that players can actually play ace of spades, the way it was meant to be with team work,building, and big dogfights. Stack, I know your not the best at python but could we have them up soon? I just think its time

You mean like a whitelist server? If yes than you can create one yourself with the whitelist script that Greasemonkey made.

how well is it though? If it is just by name then someone could log in as you? I would like to try it though could you supply a link please?

It's by IP. To add someone to the whitelist all you do is "!wladd 192.168.2.1 Notes" I would do somehthing like "!wladd 192.168.2.1 Color"
If you can go on IRC just beep me and I'll show you how it goes.
Though I'm pretty sure Stack might be working on something a whole lot better.

Dont think it works. Tried to use it on Assault and it never worked.

I've had one working for quite a few months now, it uses Build and Shoot's forum database. Any Build and Shoot member will be able to play on whitelisted servers.

I think it was because the whitelist didn't sync the banlists so you can't whitelist someone that has been banned on an external banlist.
