Took me 43 minutes for it to work for me. My History page reckons that I refreshed the page 87 times before it finally worked.

I never really understood why that problem comes up so frequent. And yeah, it's annoying as hell. There was actually a week or two where it never showed up.

This is very annoying. Takes ages till I can finally go on it again.

server hardware can't handle the ~120 users in 5 minutes on the size.

You can use Google to search the forum. Just put in: Then whatever you want to search for, and it'll only show you results from this site.

I just use "View unread posts" to see what's new and then click "Mark forums read." Unfortunately, unread posts uses the search function.

Stack's barely been online on IRC to be able to be bitched at about this. I think izzy's been working on trying to improve site performance, but it clearly hasn't been enough. It would seem the server can't handle this many people, but as far as I know, it's even that highly used. Yes, it is still happening sometimes, but I don't think as often. I don't really know the GMT time, right now, but the next time it does that, I'll post it.
