Is there any way to make it go over the avatar so that it can still be seen on people with 200x200 avatars? You can still see it is there now, but it would look nicer if it was in front of the avatar.

I've noticed this too, and ! find it rather irritating.

I think this might be a consequence of having the pictures on the right. Or, just set maximum avatar dimensions to something smaller, such as 150x150 (which I've used since realizing 200x200 covered the "Online" ribbon).
