Build and Shoot

Tell us your story on how you found build and shoot! I will start:

Well I started being on the mumble 24/7 in early August. Around late October Dan started talking if a new project he and stack were working on that would change the way you played AoS forever. The day the website was changed Dan explained what he had made. So I stayed on Build and Shoot and I am still on the mumble daily as its a pretty good community.

After Jagex made it public about them being apart of AoS and that it was going to get ruined. I saw BnS in some Sig's and came here.

I found the site relatively early. But I didn't think that it would blow up like it did at first, so it took a while before I signed up. I'm pretty sure I came here via the IRC.

I was talking to Stack in IRC and he mentioned he and a few other old community members were starting a new site. It's something I had considered doing if no-one else did, so I joined.

It was linked in the staff channel as dan's project sometime in early November or maybe even a little before.

Started on the IRC then joined the site reletively late. Thought I was here early.

My friend told me about build and shoot is a classic game of aos

After noticing that my mods weren't being downloaded, I did a little investigation and Google led me here.

After the free version was unavailable, I watch nerd³'s 3 free games friday where he was reviewing the free version; people in the comments section were tell people to go to buildandshoot.com/

Exactly the same here.

If only BnS was public earlier, we could have started redirected people to here from the old forums.

Saw it on the official JaGex forums a couple of times so I decided to check it out.

Saw it on the Jagex forums and someone told me about it so I thought I'd check it out.

Google several months ago.

I always tended to ignore the people spamming it on jagex forums, figuring it would just be a virus or something when I clicked it.

But I am and always have been a chronic googler.

Back in January, when you typed "ace of spades" into google (to find the jagex forums), "build and shoot" was listed as number 5-6 or so (on the front page of results).

Now however, it has fallen to page 2, out of sight, out of mind ;(

That sucks that we fell to page 2, our traffic is much higher now than in January. Also, glad to see you here. I read many a long post by you, only to see it deleted.
