Adding OpenSpades to the download page

I mean, why not? Right now the OpenSpades download is somewhat hidden in a subsection of the forum. Adding it as an optional download to the "download the game" page could lead to more awareness of OpenSpades in generall and boost its popularity.

Actually a very good idea. It would let the new-comers know it's there, and let OpenSpades become more popular.

I do not know. It is a mod after all. I guess the admins should put it boost the popularity and make aos interesting

OpenSpades is a standalone alternative, not a mod. It's even in the title.
Also, I suggest a visual overhaul on the forums, and make the player count on the servers update more frequently, but that may be on a different topic.

I think so, but since it functions only as a client and still plays on the servers it's safe to say it's just an alternative.

Open Spades is an alternative client. Meaning you can use it as an alternative from the main client to connect to servers and play the game, ace of spades.
