Serverlist not linked anymore

When i used to click on the "SERVER LIST" Link on the front page, it would direct me to buildandshoot.com/serverlist_page.php
Now when i click it, it directs me to buildandshoot.com/portal.php
This is very annoying, as the "portal" website always also opens the "What is Ace of Spades?" with the 4 youtube trailers when you are not logged in.

You've just answered your own problem

If this is an issue for you, just remain logged in.

You are right, i could of course always login before using the serverlist. But i somehow think how it is now, was not intended.

- Both the starting page (Portal) and the serverlist link to the same site (portal.php). Why are there 2 menu entries with different titles linking to the same page?
- Why are the 4 trailers on the start page only visible to people who are NOT logged in? (And IMHO the majority of people not having an account on BNS should be a bit pissed off now when they frequently want to refresh the serverlist and always have to also reload all the youtube trailers, making the browser refresh taking long)
- What does the page serverlist_page.php exist for, when there is nowhere a link to it?

I personally already felt this Build & Shoot website is a bit too cluttered and not very user friendly, but the site update seemed to have made this worse IMHO.

How it is now was intended because with the addition of the enhanced filters on the reworked server list that includes all game versions on a single page, there's not really a need to separate the portal from the server list anymore since they're both nearly identical. The only differences are: 1) the portal has a news/events section, and 2) as you already mentioned, the portal has videos, but those can be hidden by logging in. Eventually you will actually want to be logged in before playing the game anyway to experience the benefits that will come from doing so.

Because those videos are for people who don't know anything about Ace of Spades and anyone who's logged in most likely already knows what it is so why show him/her the videos?

Ok, thanks for the explanation.
I think many people won't bother with registration on forums though, i have played from the serverlist here for a lots of month without ever registering. And since my browser deletes all cookies when closed (thus logging me off), i still have the Youtube trailers whenever i open it now (i will change this in my browser, but all of this still is an annoyance for me, i have to say).
