Heyo! I wanted to suggest for quite a while. It's basically about the website/forum itself. In my perspective this current forum design is (being truthful) is horrible. It looks outdated-ish, actually it is outdated. We should really switch to a much better provider such as vBulletin or Simple Machines perhaps. Not only because of the unique designs the providers give, but to stop spammers from posting ridiculous, dumb or unimportant posts just so they can collect their total posts.
Both providers support a simple chatbox.
I wouldn't be really precise if the providers or website designers are 2 complete different things, but hell. vBulletin at least supports mobile website preferences which would make life a little bit easier.
Anyway this is just a suggestion to help the community and make it a bit more beautifully enchanced.
(oh and sorry about. I made some typo errors, posted using my mobile device)
A better forum

I've done a bit of research and found out that vBulletin and other great web hosts out there costs a good amount of monthly payment compared to PHP. The only thing PHP lacks between (as example) to vBulletin is that it doesn't support HTML and lacks a great theme designs. I'm no expert myself so I can't gurantee this suggestion a good one.

I thought vBulletin didn't support it ether. There are mods though like bnS uses a portal mod so it can have a portal page. Much simpler then making a whole norther page in HTML. There are also hundreds of themes so both are pretty bad reasons to switch from PHPBB.

I've done some more research regarding phpBB. I was looking at their forum community and saw this topic https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... w_version/ This was a decent chatbox compared to the IRC cos' it is built into the forum and is a much faster and easier way to help newbies/vets to get into communicating with the community. Oh and it also has admin rights.
But you could always just put the IRC into the front page right? Because some of us has low-end pc requiring to turn off tabs in order to free space and play.

you buy vB once, then you have a license and dont need monthly payments.
ps: the newest vB distributions really suck (from an admin pov atleast), and it's insecure as hell.
if you want to pay for something, i suggest xenForo.
