Fireguard Gaming
Fireguard gaming is a free to play gaming group and community. We are a multi gaming community so we are not active in just one game. We have people that play DayZ,WoW,TF2,Aion,Battlefield and several others but we like to play free games the most and there for do not force anyone in the community to buy a game we play. We also have a website at
http://thefgclan.40x.org/
We have two unique systems in fireguard. One is called meetings and the other is squads. Squads are small teams of members lead by two people. An adviser and a leader. Each squad works together in meetings. This way no one is left out and everyone plays a part in the group.
Meetings are just when we play a game together. They are always free and are normally something we haven't played before. We have had meetings in a ton of games ranging from Brickforce to even something like
Age of Empires online. The possibilities are endless.
Joining Fireguard
Fireguards main values are to create a community where gamers hang together and play together while also providing a friendly competitive side for our more mature members. if you don't understand what fireguard is before you join then what is the point in joining? If you would like to join you have two options. First fill out this
application. Next either post it in this thread or send it as a PM to Jdrew.
Here is the application format:
Gaming name:
Timezone:
Skype:
What type of gamer are you: (ex. medic)
Why do you want to join:
Fireguard gaming isn't your normal clan or guild. We are here for you when you need us and we will stick by you through and through. Fireguard will not though go out of its way to get you to stay with us or to try and make you join. If you are looking for a social gaming community because you don't like playing alone then we are here for you but don't expect us to let you in or keep you in if you act immature.
Happy gaming,
~jdrew

Hunger games in minecraft? If so, I have to say, I find it hilarious that you tell us that you are a f2p gaming group, then in the next post, mention two games that are not free.

As a community you have to spread into more games, more people tend to play minecraft then other games as for terraria well why would we giveaway a game you can already pay for free? Besides, our server is cracked as well as our minecraft community members but I might make it premium once I myself buy the game.

Oh, so by "free to play", you mean both free and cracked games? May I recommend CS:S then? You have to pay for that, but that doesn't seem to bother you...

No, cracked games are not okay but the cracked servers are mostly lead by 12 year olds who don't know what we are doing. Most cracked users probably like/know of free game better then premium members. As for counter strike, There is already many games similar and in my opinion better so why would we do that? Thank you for your suggestion though.

When jagex made its mover and destroyed the community alot of clans were hurt and alot of good people were lost. Those that stayed were still ify on what the future would bring. Build and shoot gave hope to the community but everything doesn't just magically heal itself. I think that B&S isn't necessarily a competitive or aggressive community so clan matches and more clans like BAS with people like DE leading. I think further down the road more clans will come up sprouting a new era for our community. SPQR disbanded on 2/13/2013. It marked the end of a dieing clan but tin wouldn't give up. He made a new clan with 11 of SPQR's best members. Fireguard learned from SPQR's mistakes and the mistakes of other communities so I was able to keep us "afloat". Every clan is different and every clan has its problems but I hope from the ashes of SPQR will come a new generation of communities eager to be #1. Though fireguard isn't a clan just a community so we were able to do things other communities weren't like let anyone in and play any game. Until jagex and build and shoot get better and have more clan based features I don't think we will be able to see any thing we havn't seen before. Though fireguard isn't the best and I don't think SPQR is bad. SPQR was one of the best and will most likely still be even after its death. Tin knew how to get er done and he did just that.

Yeah, I see nothing ironic or wrong here at all.

what type of gamer are you: Tactician/Sniper
why do you want to join: My ace of spades game has gotten about as good as I can alone. sometimes in game I would squad up with a few level headed players and I recognize the advantages. I've got a few Building/tactics that need a few people to pull off so I started looking for a clan.
I like the concepts of F2P games. Even better are free competitive games that are not dependent on newer faster duo cores with beefed up gfxCards. I think the Gamers willing to play are not caught up in the hype and are contributors not merely consumers, therefore more concerned with the game play and not the game. When JagEx moved the AoS to Steam they made a perfect example of what not to do to a game or gaming community.
