LINES - A fun. competitive clan and community.

Information and Mission: LINES is the culmination of my insights and experiences in the Ace of Spades clan community, but I'm not going to bullshit here so I'll just be as blunt as possible. LINES will implement the best of what I've seen in other clans I've been in and/or lead, using what's worked and doing away with what hasn't, to create a moderate sized community of like minded Ace of Spades players free of excessive idiocy and maintenance. From this point onwards, we're entirely IRC based. topo: " hello we are LINES and we like LINES because they are straight like us".
Tag: I'm not great with names and to be honest, I don't believe them to be that important. In line with the name of the clan, the LINES tag is |Yournamehere|, i.e lines on either side of your IGN. For example, mine is |Kodiak|.
Member Cap: LINES is now invite-only, to keep maintenance down. From when LINES was founded, I figured that it'd be best to have no more than 16 active, contributing members. Honorary members don't count towards the cap. That said, if you would like to join feel free to drop by IRC and tell us you're interested.
Multiclanning Policy: In short, multi-clanning is not allowed. If you're in another clan but would like to be involved with LINES, you can become an "honorary" member. Basically, you're able to play in matches if we fall short of full members and can use the tag in public games, if you like. Make sure it's okay with your current clan leader first though.
Ranks: There are no ranks. This is to prevent creation of a social hierarchy and so we're all in it for the fun of it. Honorary members recieve % in the IRC channel, full members @, and clan operators (this is just me and topo, really) ~. rakiru has & because he sucks.
Recruitment Policy: Because we're now invite-only, recruitment will be pretty strict. Basically, hang around in the IRC channel, let us know you're interested (unless we invite you there, ofc), perhaps query us what you can bring to the clan and we'll definitely consider it. We're looking for people who are skilled in Ace of Spades and are interested in playing competitive matches and are mature, level headed individuals.
Rules: There aren't any. Just don't be an ass, and definitely don't hack or grief in game.
Communication: LINES operates through IRC. IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and is an age-old method of Internet communication. If you have no experience with IRC and are subsequently not willing to learn how to use it to at least a basic degree, this isn't the place for you. We operate on the LDRoT network, home base of many AoS IRC communities. Some channels on this network can be a little risque, but what happens there is not my concern and if it bothers you I highly suggest avoiding them. To connect to IRC join irc.outs.in with an IRC client, or use http://webchat.minit.nu . The channel is, obviously, #LINES .
