I Composed Some Ace of Spadey Music

Yes, I did. I made it in FL Studio 11, and it is... okay. Not what I was thinking of. Basically I wanted to compose something that would fit with Ace of Spades (that is Build and Shoot, not Jagex's version)... So I gave it a go.
Yeah... and some crappy cover art done in photoshop in under ten minutes : P

Anyway, I hope you like it!

Maybe it was the very end bit? It does sound a bit like the end of the TF2 theme song (not intentional) : P

It's catchy. Me likey. Also you could try shortening it to a small loop almost so we can replace the default intro music of the game. Just an idea

Good idea! I'll work on it. It sound at little bit repetitive after a while, but then again, I could try varying it more. It's harder than it looks :P

Anyway, I think it would make a nice little sound mod. Maybe it could be a theme for one of the 'clone' developments of Ace of Spades active at the moment? I'll get to work on a loop ^^

Yeah don't worry the default intro music only plays for 2-3 seconds and then doesn't play again. I'd like to use a user-made sound clip, it makes the game feel more local and closer to the community rather than just a game in itself.

Welp, I edited it into a shorter version, just a few seconds, and replaced 'intro.wav' with it (renaming 'spiesinthehills.wav' to 'intro.wav' as well). I'm afraid it doesn't have seemed to have worked. Might require some more complicated modification. Green_Crying

Yea, that would be a good idea. Someone should do that.

I just play the video before entering a game :P

I know I know, cheap, isn't it? I must try and find out from somebody who does sound modding how to do this... But I could be the HZ/s which varies between country for some reason. I know in TF2 certain .wav files won't work unless you have the correct HZ/s. At least, I think it's called HZ/s Green_tongue
