Rifle, Smg, or shotgun take your pick

Pretty ignorant thread you got here. Every weapon was made and designed for a certain situation. The shotgun is good at close range, the SMG is great at medium range, and the rifle is good at long range. The rifle is a good overall weapon though as you can pull off head shots at any range making the rifle good for any situation as long as you have good aim.

Yea before I post this topic I was trying to ask rifle, smg, and shotgun advantages and disadvantages but I thought that was kinda lame(well this is much more lame) so I wanted to practice with the weapon that what others think it's the best weapon
@Jdrew:thx for the explanation I found out almost all of rifle and shotgun advantages and disadvantages but I still didn't find out smg disadvantages I know you can't shoot really far with smg but umm I can and some of others can so im finding different disadvantages... wait do you know other disadvantages of smg?

Depends on which version you're talking about.

If you're playing 0.75, there's little reason to use anything but the SMG. Rifle's too inconsistent at the fog line, and the shotgun's a bit wonky for me.

If you're playing 0.76, I generally prefer the Rifle for fog-shots (I defend/camp a lot), but the Shotgun's great for peppering mid-range players or destroying them at mid-to-close, and the SMG is still an easy-to-use weapon at all ranges.

How is it ignorant of him to ask what your favorite weapon is? That wasn't needed.


But I chose Rifle.

Rifle for everything. Defect just improve your fogline sniping its not the gun its you.

Rifle is best, unless you're horrible at aiming, in which case you should use smg, but the most fun is shotgun in close quarters.

Lol sometimes my hand shakes when i aim but i kill someone so i better practice rifle and thx for the info
