You will never improve if you just run away every time you screw up. There's no such thing as a clean slate, so deal with it.

It's not about name changing, it's not about making a harsh decisions. It's about you changing through time and people won't see you as they saw you before. That is the only way, but you need to have patience. With this thread you are not helping yourself, this just brings unnecessary drama.

Do a fund raiser, start something new, but most importantly, don't spam stupid stuff and you can start new. Like this one guy I knew. He was a dick before, now we're best friends.

You just described what I did. Clearly, this isn't a new thing. I think change, without a new account, is the way to go even though I didn't do that.
