This is a topic to discuss anything to do with Airsoft.

If you have any great stories to tell, tell them!

If you have some pictures of your guns or yourself to show off, show them off!

If you have any questions to ask, ask them!

I'll kick this off with pictures of my G&G SG550. I'm currently using a Swiss loadout with an Alpenflage jacket, trousers and cap. I'll be invisible when Autumn comes around.

I, myself, am on an airsoft team of about 30 people. We seperate down into 5 man squads to play at the local professional CQB airsoft arena. I'm a forward assault, so I'm the one typically either leading our group to clear a structure, or just providing extra firepower in close quarter urban situations. For urban playing, I have an MP5 Navy -J variant, which allowshas extra weight back on the shoulder to allow for assisted pivoting, a Walther P99 spring action as my side, and about 2 - 3 Tornado Gas grenades on my vest. For woodland / more open, I just have a simple Classic Army M4. My funniest story happens on a hot summer day on the outside arena. Our squad tried to hole up in the urban area, and protect our flag in a game of CTF. While I was in a building watching the street, I saw a lone pub player slide and lean onto the wall of the building across from me. I notify my squad over my headset, an we verify that the guy is on our team. A shadow appeared behind the player. To be safe, I pulled out an readied my MP5 and took aim. Before I could verify and shoot, the shadow raised a tornado in the air and shoved it down the public players pants. I never heard a college student yell that loud before.

Wow that seems like fun!

I do airsoft too, but i didn't waste much money in it, so now i have just one m4a1 (pretty shitty, though), and one m24 (too bad i broke the hop-up and now it's ded). I'm a good shooter, i like to ecamp much or to sneak behind the enemies and hit them.
My loadout sucks (i count more on myself than on it): i have an italian vegetate (whatever) camouflaged uniform and one old helmet, that's all. My m4 sucks (it's an m4 dboy|s marine 3rd version, 0.98j or less, full metal, it's nice to see, but the gun itself sucks: its spread is fucking high, so if the enemy is too far i just have to praise god if i can hit him) so it's hard for me and i hope that i will get enough money to buy a new rifle (i'd like to have a m14).
I will post some pics soon

Are your guns electric or gas?

My gun's in getting modified after my skirmish at the weekend - it keeps on cutting out due to the god-awful way the battery compartment is designed. I'm having it switched over from Tamiya to Deans so hopefully everything will be fine with it when I pick it up on Sunday.

If I'm still having trouble, I'm going to get a JG G36K or G36E to go with my Flecktarn loadout. I'll keep my SG550 because it's a sexy gun, but it'll be relegated to occasional use.

Rather than spend the money on a new gun, why not just invest in some upgrades? A better hop-up and a tighter barrel should help improve on that accuracy.

While I'd have laughed if I saw that happen, it's really a kind of a dick move to do that to someone when simply throwing it on the ground next to them would suffice. I know I'd not appreciate having a pyro thrown down my pants.

Fortunately for the victim, it wasn't a pyro gernade. Tornados are gas cartridge powered. It looks like a thermos, cartridge goes in the middle, and you fill up the rest of the shell with BBs.

I tried airsoft, its fun, but I prefer paintball over it. Its harder to cheat and the paintballs hurt, making it more fun in my opinion.
Also, Airsoft is a rarer thing up here in Canada, well... Southern Ontario.

The only thing I like about airsoft is the guns though. I will admit it I think its ridiculous when I see some people take the game to and extreme and invest large sums of money into the sport like its bootcamp with their fancy headgear and totally tacked out rifles to the point where they have flash suppressors and forgrips for some reason.

I'll stick to my Tippmann X7 ty
