brainstorming thread

this might seem foolish, but I think it will be fun,

Post as many ideas for features for AoS as you can think of. Even the foolish ones. One rule - do not focus on criticizing ideas of others. Let the bad ones die in silence. Focus on pointing out those that might maybe work (or that could work with some changes you point out), those that you like and bringing some original ones.

I am aware, that AoS is about simplicity, that probly none of them will be implemented, but it is possible that among the mess some cool ones will appear.

My ones:
barbed wire
motorcycles with sidecar and mounted machine gun
crows spawn on dead bodies (that ww1 feel)
chlorine gas grenades
tutorial on first run, mostly on how to build efficiently
when typing, player crouches, possibly animation of sipping from a canteen
scrollable chat
ladders
weather, storms, snowing covers the tops of blocks in white
implement lightning, flares, (mountable) floodlights, night fights
increase amount of blocks player can carry, blocks slowly replenish
water blocks placable on map building, lakes flood tunnels
accounts and some kind of honor system, ingame and after a match to kinda reward fair playing gamers and point out griefers
better support for voice chat (idk)

1. Action blocks that act like pistons (I wouldn't like it implemented but silly and good ideas ^^)
2. Vehicles that you have to build out of a certain combo of blocks
3. Airstrikes with actual plane models (no players driving them)
4. 60 person servers with XL maps

Ideas I like:

barbed wire.

My own ideas:
Artillery
Tanks (High damage weaponry, Lots of armor, slow movement speed and terrible aim)
Flamethrower replacement for SMG (Short range, high damage, blows through gasoline tanks like crazy, has only 4 tanks available at spawn)
Anti-Tank weaponry (if tanks get implemented, high area damage, long reload, 1 shot at a time)

I like:
actual plane models for airstrikes
flamethrowers (one shot in the back leaves your teammates in a pool of fiery death)

also bots + noob friendly map builder + single player campaing support -> epic campaings made by comunity mappers

Animated gates-Battering ram opportunities
Siege machinery-Artillery, Howitzer, Light Artillery-Shrapnel, High explosive, Gas, Incendiary
Fire, lot's and lot's of fire.
Functional Cranes-For all your mass-building needs with a sprinkle of protection from enemy fire
Glass-Perhaps bulletproof? For a view on enemies but still have protection
Airdrop-Modernized teleportation mechanism. What was that? The plane crashed?! Well that's the risk we take.
