OK, I'm a budding guitar player, and I recently got an electric guitar to complement my acoustic. Now, I can play a number of songs well enough, but I'm stuck on pinch harmonics. I just can't seem to get them right! I've found the nodes and I've tried a number of techniques, but I can only rarely get a good EVH sound out of it.

I've been practicing them for a couple weeks now, more or less, and I'm starting to get frustrated. Any tips, or will it just come with practice? Thanks either way, in advance! Green_Happy3

At the end of the day, it all comes down to practice, practice as much as you can, whenever you can and eventually you will get it

However, there are some things that you can do to help:

MOAR DISTORTION!!!!!!
The more you have, the easier it will be for you to hit harmonics (Thats what I find anyway)

Don't over complicate it, don't think about it too much, just do it, make sure it feels natural

Thanks all I can think of right now, might come back later with some more

-Happy Guitaring!
