Saudi Arabia is punishing Russia and Iran. They know they'll make all lot of money by having to send their oil to USA.

actually, this is the oil companies trying to put fracking out of business. really.
they are willing to take a short term hit to screw fracking, so BP having lower prices for them to get oil does not mean we get cheaper gas. they might take it as a lucky break.
