I found it GassyMexicans video about two years ago. He was playing on bridge wars and I thought it was the best game in the world at the time since I couldn't run any other games. Share where you found ace of spades and have some nostalgia :)

although it was edited the above is an article where I first discovered the game but the graphics made me unsure so I went two months without playing, then I did and I ended up here somehow

A friend of me saw a YouTube video and we started playing together, I got bored quickly because there weren't that many people in the early versions.

Thats me, except replace "late 2012" with "mid 2011". I still can't believe how much has changed though.

i played for a bit in 2011 before jagex shut it down and when i could no longer play i left and forgot about it and earlier this year i was surfing the web and was looking for something to play and remembered aos and typed it into google to see if there was any servers that i could play and i found bns

Someone showed it to me in spring 2011 but I didn't join forums until winter 2011 and that was probably the wrongest of things to do.

A friend told me about AoS around mid-2012, checked it out, thought it was alright, and all the rest happened.

I joined so long ago I can't even remember, all I remember is being addicted to goonhaven.
