Thoughts On Society And The False Reality

A little vague this one, trying to put my own musings into words, or find an adequate way of explaining.
One of the issues here is defining reality, as opposed to a false/fabricated reality. The dictionary definition of reality is as follows "the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them." relevant or not I will be using reality in this thread to represent what we perceive as reality. It may be a bit surreal, flawed, or just downright incorrect, so bear with me.
The first thing I want to cover here is the idea that a false or fabricated reality is itself indistinct from reality, the two are entirely indistinguishable in practise. There is no possible way for you to know if you are living in reality or a fabricated reality, take two people, now one of them firmly and utterly believes that the other is wearing a doughnut on his head, to him it is a reality, it is true and factual. The other man knows that this is not true, it is an unreality. But does it matter at all that either is real or unreal? the effects are still exactly the same. Our reality is our perception of that reality. So reality itself is fluid, changeable and controllable.
This fluid reality is used as a control mechanism to produce a compliant public. Time and time again in history it has been proved that a governing body cannot forcefully subjugate and control a people, it just doesn't work. Once it was realised that this approach was counter productive a new technique had to be formed, a subtle, drawn out process. This process was to create a false reality for us to live in, and strung out over several generations it has proved to be fairly effective. In this false reality we are distracted from it's flaws by the existence of a constant threat: terrorism, war, famine etc. Manufactured to terrify and deceive a gullible public into going along with the decisions of it's governing body for the preservation of their comfort and continued existence. Another big part of this false reality is to remove self reliance, the public MUST depend on it's governing body to take care of them, it is the fear of loosing our comfortable easy life styles that keeps us in check.
In this false reality the state will protect you, from all threats both foreign and domestic. Police and military. You don't need to protect yourself, you don't need to arm yourself, arming yourself is dangerous and can lead to innocent deaths. The goal of this part of the process is to disarm the people, to remove the option of effective violence from them, so that they pose less threat to the continuation of authority. Events of armed violence will grow exponentially over time, fabricated in the media if not in actual practise, to scare the general public into agreeing with the states ideal of a disarmed public, all under the guise of protecting them.
There have been many events in the USA over the years that I have taken a very keen interest in, and how I believe they link to the process of false reality, however I also feel mentioning them here would be distasteful at the least. So google operation northwoods, read the wiki. And investigate yourself.
TL;DR Reality is not an fixed state, it is fluid and changeable, and is the perfect control mechanism. We are quite literally living in a false reality, matrix style :P
There is a lot more I have to say on the subject, but I think I'll leave it there. Found it hard enough to put into words just those few points. Look forward to reading the replies.
