For some reason I got sent an email from SOE saying I was "one of the most loyal players" and that because of it I could see a weekly news video they made. It seems like a bunch of boring nonsense but he talks about a new vechicle in the end. For some reason the video is unlisted, now I am guessing that means not to give it out but oh well. Enjoy.

Interesting, the Valkyrie may be quite a good edition. Especially for me.

I'm in an outfit called TRAF [The Terran Republic Assault Force] last night on the Friday night ops I played in the tactical response team. Basically were a smaller elite squad with different standing orders, rather then joining the other squads in the main assault force we pretty much have free rein to make our own tactical decisions, be this re-enforcing one of the main forces, securing territory behind enemy lines to be reinforced later, or falling back to defend strategic assets.

This new vehicle could increase the TRT's capability exponentially, allowing us to mobilize and deploy into enemy territory far quicker then with mozzies or galaxy's.

I r excited :D

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND:

Could be quite overpowered, two Heavy's in the rumble seats with lock on rockets would make mince meat out of ground and air vehicles, essentially giving us a liberator with a slight speed and maneuverability increase.

Seems interesting. I like flying in Scythes so it will definitively make for a far more interesting target than the near-stationary Galaxies and Libs.
Also, uhh, are MAXes able to ride that thing? I can't even imagine what a nightmare it would be to face a flying quadruple AA turret, hahaha.

Heh, I get the awful sinking feeling that it will be nerfed pretty quickly. Just like the harasser. When it's released it'l be just fine, but anytime a vehicle that actually requires teamwork is released all the zergers and solo players cry nerf. And solo players make up the bulk of the community.

Yeah, I'm surprised the frequency of forum posts consisting of "zomfg guise outfits are op remoev tehm pls im get killed by gotr/vco/1tr all the time zomfg they h4x" in their forums is so low, given the actual solo population.
This kinda makes me a hypocrate, I guess, because I'm not running with any Vanu outfit. A guy invited me to Dukes of Vanu but I'm not sure about it because I've never seen them on the forums, eh. I also tend to run with open outfit squads, tho.
