GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA! 'NUFF SAID~

Also~ The new released Ao Haru Ride is the shoujo of the season! <3 Loved the first episode!

HanaYamata is a cute anime by the studio MADHOUSE with great visuals just like how they did it with No Game No Life.

Both shows are worth watching if you like Romance and Slice of Life respectively.

It's ok, but it's just another one of those anime that spams fan-service and has a pretty poor plot line. It's not terrible, though.
Yeah the fan service is real, but when they did it most of the time they made it funny. When Shiro said "omega good job" during the game of shiritori, I had a laughing fit.

Black Lagoon(season 1,2 and the OVA):

Black Lagoon centers around the "shipping" company of the same name. The story follows the lives of the four people who make up the company and their jobs in the city known as Roanapur, a crime infested city run by the several mafia groups and paid off cops. Roanapur is like hell on earth but it reflects the anime. Just from the opening you know this isn't going to be a show like FMA. All of the charcters are very dark except for Rock and Benny. Rock is the male lead but he hasn't fell into the darkness of the city and became all tough. Instead he is in the "twilight". As the show goes on the viewer sees Rock constantly facing moral struggles that are even worse then Psycho-Pass, but these conflicts make for some great action. Not that there isn't enough action though as every episode has some gun shootout of some sort. The female lead is also very interesting. "Two hands" Revy is the guns of the company doing most of the action. She is constantly protecting Rock and trying to keep him from going into the dark side. Her backstory is revealed in the OVA which makes for an interesting ending. Well the anime didn't actually end I guess. Both the end of the second season and OVA were open ended endings and the manga came back after four years, two months ago so hopefully we will get a third season in the coming years. In the end Black Lagoon is an action packed anime(full of cussing, blood, and death) about a hellish city full of interesting characters with unique back stories that has an open ended ending.

Watch the English dub for black lagoon, persona is too talked about so I haven't seen it. Same with steins gate and bebop.

I do. The games are awesome(P3 being my fav). The first Persona 3 movie is good. I didn't watch the P4 anime. Persona Trinity is ok.

Baby Steps:
Maruo Eiichirou (Ei-Chan), a first year honor student, one day decides he's unhappy with the way things are and lacks exercise. He finds a flyer for the Tennis Club and decides to check it out. He's instantly captivated by it.

With no prior experience and poor physical conditioning, join Ei-Chan as he embarks on a tennis journey using his smarts, dedication, and work ethic.

The MC is pretty much Inui 2.0 for those familiar with Prince of Tennis.
I think it's good.

Movies: Redline
According to Tim Maughan of Anime News Network, Redline was released several years later than originally planned. Its development took seven years and used 100,000 hand-made drawings

Akira one of my favs and it's old (1988), Jdrew don't watch it then.

Series: Fooly Cooly, FLCL 6 episodes and a bit weird, I liked it though.

PS: I dont know if those animes were already posted, just watch them.

Did someone just said, 'Akira'?
Man, that has got to be the most awesome anime I have ever seen. The plot wasn't really good and the ending was very confusing(considering they shortened 2000 pages-ish back down to 1-2 hours), but the animation was gourgeous. Not to mention, it's smooth as butter, >30 FPS for sure.

Ah, Redline...what a movie..

Visually stunning with every frame. The plot was kind of weak imo, but the animation, music and unique art style made up for it. The character designs also don't follow the cliches found in anime. Redline is a movie for those who just want an intense and action packed "racing" movie without having to worry about a complex plot. ALSO DOWNLOAD THAT MOVIE OST BC ITS SO GOOD

Idk I liked the plot, but probably because I did some background reading with a bit of the manga. But yeah, the animation is flawless considering when it was made. I'm still having trouble finding a Bluray release where I am :(

On another note, DO NOT WATCH AKIRA WHILE HIGH ON THE GREEN. SHIT IS FUCKED YO
