I don't think there's a very large correlation between reputation in online communities and life success, so I don't think you should be worrying about how people think of you here, rather, you should probably be worrying about how people think of you in real life and if that is reflective of something you're doing wrong.

True, real life reputation comes first, then community.
Don't get yourself down about it, you can always be elected as guard on another server.

I'd rather get good grades, go to college in Not America, and remain a person with almost no friends and no girlfriend.

Look, if you want to change your life and not follow in the footsteps of your dad, then go do it. Lift. Get a social life. Do sports. If you work to change yourself for the better, then you will get better.
