minecraft forge installer doing nothing. HELP

so yea i try to install forge for minecraft 1.6.2 and when i open with java something or another binary it doesn't work . it doesn't work in i open it regularly either. so please help on this. thanks

You are being a "Help Vamp." if you dont knownwhat that is, look it up. First, ModLoader is superior, Forge sucks. Second, you need an archiving software. Then, go to your bin in the Minecraft directory, open the .jar with your archiver software, then drag then drop. That simple.

modloader with the new versions is crap.
forge became the best.

now, you open the forge installer, and you find your bin folder in minecraft directory. (%appdata%/.minecraft/bin) and ofc press install.
it should create a new profile called Forge, and a new folder called mods.

Damn.... I have the same proplem, goddam new minecraft installing styles. I love the old school minecraft install type, but now its boring and annoying, and installers suck. I Love manual mod installing :D
