Step 1: Find something that can do .gifs AND NOT MANGLE THE PALETTE, e.g. Gimp (I really should upload my animatic script provided that hasn't been lost forever)
Step 2: Use this template:
Step 3: Make 30 frames of coherent animation. The animation is 10fps, so this will last 3 seconds. Remember, this is a blue ball MACHINE.
Step 4: Save it as an animated .gif.
Step 5: Upload image and post it here.
Eventually we will have a tool that will stitch that stuff into a big and slightly hex-patterned .gif.
