cube one is good

They are both the same game, it just has 2 names, or maybe it is called Sauerbraten: cube 2 I am not sure.

after i played this my old PC started making the game lag when i move the mouse (not on this PC but my old one)

It's a good game, and it should run on your grandma's rig.

Yup, i have 200 fps on my laptop. The sad thing is that most of the time only 3-4 servers have people on them.

^Yeah that kinda sucks, but there is usually one big server with twenty people or so. And if your computer can't handle online then I would recommend bots, they are actually pretty fun.

i dont have a grandmas rig. its a decent PC a business would use.

I ran a sauerbraten server for a couple of months. Really great game!

If you guys like Counterstrike, you can try AssultCube too! it is the Cube engine 1 but is still fun!

This game reminds me of Unreal Tournament. Might be different gameplay though. I will try it out.

This game uses the same game engine that Quake 3 uses, and Quake 3 is what Unreal Tournament is based on.

The engine supporting the game is entirely original in code & design, and its code is Open Source (ZLIB license, read the docs for more on how you can use the engine).

Upon further inspection I see that you are right and that Quake 3 uses a different engine, this game is just very similar to Quake, like all of the weapons are basically just re skins of the Quake 3 weapons, with the exception of the pistol.
