RuneScape 3 to come out July 22: Will it all pay off?

RuneScape 3 has now been announced to come out July 22. New improvements include HTML5,new audio engine, better shadows, better textures, better sound, better camera. Basicly they have completely overhauled the game, but at what cost? For some time now Jagex has been going down. Ace of Spades did not sell very well at all and people are getting layed off everywhere. They have a new moba coming in November called Transformers Universe as well. They can't possible have enough money to do all this? I mean they have redone EVERYTHING in the game they even have a new website being made. If RS3 doesn't pay off maybe we will see a change in Jagex. What are your thoughts?

Runescapes starting to lose popularity, and is pretty much their ONLY successful venture. Jagex is slowly dying off, and rather than go to a doctor, theyre amputating limbs for a fever.

Runescape is dying, and all of their other games have failed. Jagex may realize how badly they've screwed everything up, but will it matter? If this update fails to revitalize runescape, Jagex won't have much of a chance to change their ways.

I dunno man, I stopped rsing ever since le combato beta. But the graphics look nice. I might check it out

See, theres nothing wrong with jagex itself... The only quarrel I have with them is how they butchered the game we know and love

Runescape still exists? I thought it died around 2007-2008. Although it is Jagex we're talking about, they'll drag it out as long as possible to try to get the most money from their customers as they can before it dies completely.
