FaultCheck and I have been working on a game in our spare time, nothing fancy. We wanted to make something that was 2d and not a blocky first person shooter with elements of construction and destruction. We started out making a flappy birds clone, called it the 100% original name of "Flappy Deuces". Link below to the game.

We have since expanded on the idea. The concept now is a player controlled rocket flying through a bunker trying to reach the end. The link below takes you to that build.

Currently on the first load there is a bug where multiple patterns load at the same time but after you crash and burn it works fine. The game is randomly loading patterns/slash levels to fly threw. Currently there are only 3 patterns, the start up and then 2 randomly choosen patterns.

a concept of what the rocket deuce may look like.

a failed attempted at animating, looks like the deuce is humping the air.

Everything is still rough and feedback is appreciated.

Much inspiring.

Looking good, keep flying rocket deuce to success.

May I asked what software you animated it with? I've had some experience animating little things in Flash during College, not too sure if I'd be of any help?

I used spriter, you only need to make the pieces and it does some fancy tweening. I have a better running animation but we decided not to use a jetpack. We are thinking of making progressively more complex games as we go, this is just to get our feet wet working together. So another game we might use more complicated animations.

We got music, pixellated transitions between the game and the highscore table, and a mute button.

We are really close to getting to the polishing stage to make the game more finished and complete. We might add other things to crash into and affect your ablitiy to steer, and a global leaderboard.

The current music was randomly generated from http://www.link.cs.cmu.edu/melody-generator/. It is placeholder and so are the current sfx, which were randomly generated from http://github.grumdrig.com/jsfxr/ And the artwork which is also just a placeholder was randomly generated from my mind.

The latest build is the same url in the OP but ill link it here so you dont have to scroll up. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/128 ... index.html

Pretty cool. Much improvements noticeable. Wonder when will the "Experience Boost DLC" come out.
