Origin has had this event called "On the House" where they let you download a specific game for free for a limited amount of time. After downloading the game, you get to keep it forever. The event has been running for a few weeks now with games like Dead Space and Plants vs. Zombies. Today however, I noticed that Battlefield 3 is on the house. Holly shit! I payed $10.00 for the game when it was on the humble bundle. Such an amazing multiplayer experience, I really can't believe it is free. Man we should really throw an event!

Multiplayer in PS3 is pretty shit after a while, seems to be the same on PC too, from what I've been told.
I'm going to try it for myself still tho.

I bought it on 360 a few months ago, and it's pretty cool, but being able to play with only 24 players is a bummer on a lot of maps. it should also be a bit easier to play on PC, since I am not so good with controllers

I am really hoping they'll make BFBC2 free too, that is definitely my favorite Battlefield game, but it is pretty dead on xbox

No but it includes Singleplayer.

Meh. Downloading anyway. I sorta agree we should do a small event or something. It's fun to play with friends...

how do you get that working? I am guessing something to do with battlelog, but I am not sure. I always thought you'd have to rebuy it for a new console

I have a shit PC but I do have Origin though... Damnit, for me to own it, I have to download it.

Also, the internet here is ATROCIOUS. It costs so much for just 3 mbps

P1000... sounds expensive to us (at least that's how much I pay monthly). It's about... 25 USD.

Poor country, expensive internet, but very slow.

BTW: It took me 1 week (without overnight downloads) to get my pirated BF3... which was about 13 GB.
I'll try this one. I'm really tired of playing with Russians and whatnot. (no really... they get annoying)

no you don't. I didn't download it yet and it's in my library. same thing with Dead Space, it's still in my library and I haven't downloaded it yet
