To be fair, that doesn't always end up poorly, I played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Halo when I was like 9, and I am/was nothing like those kids ;_;
I also played Halo and San Andreas most of the time's when get bored and suck..
Much more interested than epic fails,

I played San Andreas when I was around that age too, I didn't play the missions I just went around killing everyone and see how long I can survive, lol.

This combined with killstreaks only serve to further separate the skilled from the unskilled, the new from the old, making it somewhat more frustrating to get into for newer players. Not to mention making it harder to counter certain weapons/tactics/etc.
What?
Are you joking?
Compared to most games, Call of Duty is pretty easy to get into.
Try playing Quake 3 Arena or Quake Live. Or any Arena shooter for that matter.
CoD is easy to get into, thus why it sells so much.
Its great for people who don't wanna put in countless hours learning, xp grinding and so fourth ( with the exception of Black Ops, with its CoD Points system.)
People simply want a " pick up and play " game, which isn't a bad thing!
If you played previous fps's you can level up easy cod you just have to get used to the maps and get over the noob tubes and killstreak awards sometimes, btw I went to level 55 on cod4 just by playing search and destroy, 50 XP for 1 kill loool.
Honestly dude, if you play Call of Duty to show off your skills, you are playing wrong. Comparing Battlefield and Call of Duty is like comparing a TV show with a very complex plot to a TV show with a easy to follow plot. One requires a good amount of thinking and the other is for when you need to turn off your brain for a while because you have been through a long day. I play both games and love them very much, so I don't bother with this "Call of Duty vs. Battlefield" stupidity. Just saying

No...it's because little kids with their dumb parents get the game.
I enjoy Halo's multiplayer. CoD is to damn easy. Singleplayer and Zombies is good. But fuck the multiplayer.

Play me in CoD.
If CoD was so easy there wouldn't be million dollar MLG tournaments and clans such as FaZe( Which I find ridiculous ) known worldwide for their skill.
I really don't see the point about arguing about (2 Specific) games. I'm pretty sure they share the same concept of playing them for fun.
I mean I play CoD for the majority of the it's singleplayer & BF3 for it's multiplayer since the feel of when you unlock new weapons is really rewarding & the whole 'tactics' idea makes it exciting, I'm not saying CoD isn't exciting but when I ever play multiplayer I just play it in a private room with some of my friends.Cuz the feeling of getting bum rushed by some kid (who presumably rants about sleeping with my mom) with akimbo shotguns is just sad & full of 'let-down'.
P.S This is what I always say to those generic slobs :
Here's some mods ^ if you're into that kinda thing. 4 lyf
I hate how CoD recyles the gameplay and everything and how they never add anything new, but the thing is:
The multiplayer can actually be fun, especially with some mates from school/work/whatever. Crushing noobs is somewhat enjoyable, regardless of how shitty CoDs mechanics are.
