I've played it once or twice, but the shear complexity and awkward (in my opinion) camera controls don't really make it a top pick when looking for something to play.
I still have 6 invites if anyone wants to try it (valve hand them out like sweets on Halloween).

I originally played LoL for about 6 months, and never came back once I got the hang of Dota. I just wish I could get more of my LoL friends past the learning curve. They tend to just bitch about getting stunlocked and ragequit to go play LoL.

I've already racked up about 500 hours in just under a year.
