so 2 jagex employees walk into a bar. One noticed a rather plain looking girl, and his eyes widens a bit before he does his best to collect himself. He goes up, buys her a drink, and starts chatting her up, being quiet obvious that he wants to get in her pants, buying he whatever she asks. A half hour later the other employee asks "Bro, why you spending so much money on her?" to which the friend asks "Well what would you rate her?". The friend shrugs, thinks, and responds "5.9" to which his friend replies with a smirk "Exactly, a 5.9 is hard to resist"

There is just no equivalent girl in any other girl he's met.

A guy walks into a bar. Except it was a balance bar used in playgrounds, so he tripped and got hurt.

And the Jagex employee gave aids to 2 or more other girls.

So I may have it wrong but the joke is suggesting that the Jagex ratings suck and that the employee spends a lot of money as he finds it hard to resist a 5.9 rating girl who is presumably being compared to a game that has a 5.9 rating which is not great.
Right or wrong?

Almost.
On the Jagex site, they put up a rating that read "Hard to resist!" that they said was (iirc) from IGN.
On IGN's website, they rated Ace of Spades a 5.9/10, by their standards a 5.9 is just a "meh". Nothing special and they probably won't be playing it often or not at all.
