Ace of Spades map editor: Is Jagex doing something right?

Below is a video by old flads, a "youtube content creator". It shows how the new map editor works. This editor looks really great! Currently when making a map in the voxlap version you don't have many tools to use and those that you can use are not very user friendly however this editor lets you create the terrain and import a bunch of models very fast and very simple. Although you can not currently edit models the models they have made so far are fairly decent. If my laptop could handle it I would love to make a moba map for the game to show off.

Never heard of this guy, I wonder why he got the beta..

He volunteered for Zone of Aces who is owned by Jagex so he got a copy of it to spruce up activity

He's probably got similar tastes to them. That's why he has it and AFAIK the CMDAs don't.

Anyone can join the Beta, they just have to post it on the forums that they intend to. It's really just making it clear that this is an unfinished build, and I have no problem with that.
