I found two videos showing 1.0 footage. The first is by Enari.

Uggh, it's like Jagex is trying to dissuade people from purchasing AoS. The only thing that will keep miner class from being op is the fact that after he rapes the map he's useless. Unless you can prefab mountains/entire buildings/etc out of thin air theres going to be no chance of countering the sheer amount of antibuilding weapons introduced in 1.0. It doesnt help that prefab buildings are bad for multiple reasons.

It is not by enari, it is from gotgame, enari edited out all credits to gotgame.

This is so bad...

I'll believe that when I see it. Unless they're limiting the number of each class per team, the maps are going to be destroyed so quickly.

Edit: Actually, I bet there was only 1 miner per team when Jagex played internally anyway.

He also can't be instant head shot killed by snipers. From his hat.

So pretty much you have to hope you can shotgun him or minigun him. Then again, by then he probably launched his drill gun right into whatever it is your team was on and destroyed it. The only thing keeping him from being completely broken is once theres nothing left hes essentially an anti sniper, assuming there isnt a rifle nerf. So after 5 minutes hes delegated to one trick pony.

I thought the video was put together pretty nicely but griefing is going to be a bitch in this game. Stuff is way too overpowered and there doesn't seem to be any balance in the game. And a hat that protects from head shots? Mfw

The hat should only protect from headshots from above.
