in the past jagex successfully sued a website for showing glitches in runescape, on the new AOS fourms using the term build and shoot is an auto perma ban. they have went after runescape private servers too

Wait.. sued a website for showing glitches in runescape? What? Well that just shows that they can't accept criticism for their games. Well we all know that anyway right?

B&S has been getting contacted since day one, they are just minor threats and alot of big requests though

No, we have not gotten any legal threats at all. Jdrew that is blatant lie. That has never been said or implied.

Jagex has made requests to the BnS admins via email and where reasonable and appropriate we have complied. Such as clearly distinguishing discussion for the steam version and the voxlap version.

All we are is a place to discuss a game. Any services we provide for the game are derived from open source software which is publicly available.

For reasons danhezee stated and because of the nature of the Build and Shoot website (a staging area for Ace of Spades Beta, Ace of Spades discussion, and future Ace of Spades clones), Jagex will most likely never come after the website. They simply don't have a reason or any justification for doing so.

I find that the are suing bot uses absolutely disgusting and completely wrong.

Dish out a permanent IP ban and be done with it. No need to sue them.

Well no minor threats but you know like that those threads that had negative opinions on jagex and 1.0, I am scared as to what their next move will be. Though no legal threats have been given out yet 1.0 has had bad sales, no of which is build and shoot's fault but jagex could very well think of it as killing two birds with one stone.

Jdrew, stop pretending you know this you don't and shut up. Banning people is one thing, taking people to court is another entirely different thing.

Coming to terms, with Classic AoS, and 1.0, they actually made good sales. Because Classic didn't make money remember? Bwahaha.
